| mulcher blade (MUL) has both a positive lift on the outside of the blade and a |

| negative lift toward the inside of the blade. This serves to agitate the grass |
|---|
| inside the deck to bring it into more contact with the cutting surfaces and thereby |
|---|
| reduce clipping size. While this is primarily for decks with mulching kits |
|---|
| installed, using a wavy mulch blade in side discharge mode also reduces clipping |
|---|
| size. |
