Like all Mustangs this unit is Alloy which is much stronger and more durable than your traditional steel chassis, although you dont get all that strength for nothing as the unit is slightly heavier than your average mower. TIP: if your tossing up between this and the Honda models this might help. The Honda Buffalo may not have an engine of this size but the chute opening on the unit is much larger and more open allowing it to catch better in the wet when compared to the Victa. Although the Victa has a more powerful engine so if your after sheer grunt and you may be mulching, or you don't let your grass get super long then the Victa may be for you.
