Stihl has listened to the public and put their heads together to introduce the largest Stihl saw on the market to date that is equipped with their easy start technology. This smart design means that there is now a slightly more powerful Stihl saw on the market that can be used easily with minimal fuss. Some people struggle with starting/ tensioning the chain and this model removes all those issues. It's still the MS 291 you have come to know and love although with some added extras!

Features

	Easy2Start Stihl has revolutionised the way we start a chainsaw with their innovative Easy2Start system. Selected saws like this one now feature an extra spring between the crankshaft and the rope rotor. Less effort is required to pull the cord tensioning the spring against the compression resistance of the engine. With the spring automatically sending the power of the spring to the crankshaft making it turn for an easier start.
	Stihl Quick Chain Tensioning This feature removes the need for tools to adjust the bar. Loosen the sprocket cover without any tools then adjust the chain using a thumb wheel.
	Stihl Ematic-System This automatic chain lubrication system ensures that the exact right amount of oil is applied to the chain at the right point at the right time. This precise system means less oil is consumed by the saw and increase the precision of oiling and optimum lubrication. The Ematic system can reduce bar oil consumption up to 50%.
	Advanced Combustion Technology The application of the four overflow channels swirl the fuel-air mix before ignition, resting in optimum combustion and very efficient output. delivering high torque across a broad rpm range.
	Stihl 2-Mix Engine The result of this is a saw which is more fuel efficient while running cleaner. This is due to the the advanced stratified charge system that increases the power of the saw at the same time as minimising consumption. Resulting in increased fuel efficiency which is better for your wallet
	Pre-separation Air Filtration System The innovative Stihl long-life air filter system removes larger particles of dirt and dust before they actually get to the filter. Meaning it has less work to do and in return can be changed fewer times, meaning longer life span and less maintenance.
	Anti-Vibraton System Using a chainsaw always results is significant vibration causing fatigue for the operator. Thats why Stihl's anti-vibration system is an innovative piece of technology that sets it apart from the rest. The vibration system sees the oscillations from the engine dampened reducing the handle vibration.
	Compensator Is the process of the controller in the carby preventing the fuel-air mixture from getting too rich when the air filter gets blocked up. Ensuring the right amount of fuel is delivered to the carby while taking into consideration the amount of air coming through the air filter. This ensures the mixture is constant and in return results in constant engine power.
	Single-Lever Master Control The most important functions are accessible through a single lever; controlling the start, choke, throttle and stop abilities.
	Long-Term Air Cleaner System The long life air filter system has a service life of up to five times longer than the previous air filter system. The innovative HD2 filter is manufactured from a water and oil repellent polyethylene filter material. Consisting of up to 70% finer pores than fleece and is substantially easier to clean.
