Our Rigging Pulleys are designed and manufactured in the UK, at our factory based in North Wales, where we have been crafting industry-leading safety components and “Solutions in Metal” for over 50 years.
When we started this project, we asked ourselves what’s next? How could we make our industry-trusted Rigging Pulleys even better? We knew our customers most valued the strength and reliability of our pulleys and our massively popular SpringLock locking mechanism. So the team took the challenge and delivered improvements on these features.
To achieve the impressive new strength of the 200 Series Pulleys, we had to completely rethink the pulley plates from the ground up. Using state-of-the-art stress analysis tools, we reshaped and redistributed the material in the hot forged high-strength aluminium frames to significantly change the way they performed under load to maximize strength.
We then coupled this with a unique axle/frame interlocking design using heat-treated hardened stainless steel axles which reduces the inherent tendency to deform or flex under extreme loads. What we achieved are pulleys that are up to 150% stronger than their predecessors and are built to withstand even the toughest rigging jobs with ease.
The locking mechanism was our next challenge, how could we make this better? Our new Patent Pending “SafeLock” system builds upon the reliability and ease of use that our customers expect from ISC pulleys. The new SafeLock locking mechanism achieves an extremely low profile design while maintaining the quick action of a SpringLock.
Every element of the New ISC 200 Series Pulleys showcases the craftsmanship and attention to detail that they have received. Take a closer review and we are confident that you’ll find the ISC 200 Series Rigging Pulleys are setting new standards for trusted performance.
