The world's most used inverter generator is the Honda EU22i. This modification done by the accredited Honda safety switch manufacturer is available online. Want to take your inverter generator onto your construction site then now you can. These generators are compliant as they are fitted with one outlet and a residual current device (RCD). This outlet is also waterproof making it ideal for the construction industry. Please note these are ordered per customer meaning that once you place your order it takes 10 business days to construct and then it will be packed and shipped to you. Bulk orders can have slightly longer wait times depending on how many you require.
The current building, construction and workplace safety requirements in most areas of Australia ensure RCD’s are fitted to all specified generators used in the industry otherwise you will not be allowed on-site with your generator. Specific regulation and standards apply ensuring all work conforms and is tested by qualified personnel. Workplace Safety Regulations further require approved weatherproof outlets, RCD protection together with approved wiring methods for each generator.
The outlet and breaker stick out 65mm from the casing of the generator and can still fit under a genuine Honda generator cover. NOTE: you are responsible for checking what your site regulations are as they may vary from the legislation and be more strict than what it requires. Features are in the tab below!

| Run Dry Mode An additional feature that also removes a substantial issue is stale fuel in the carburettor bowl. Camping is a seasonal activity and often the EU20i generator would spend months tucked away in the shed without use! You may empty the fuel tank but the fuel sitting in the system is left there. This lead to carby issues and starting problems caused by the stale fuel. Now, they have a run dry element on the switch which clears the complete unit of fuel so that it none is left in the units system when the generator needs to be stored.
